Review “Ceaseless” by Abbi Glines

Can he make her fall in love with him… again?

When Pagan Moore proved worthy of Death’s devotion, he was given the gift of getting to keep her.

But Dank was never promised that Pagan would keep him.

When a soul is created, so is its mate. In every lifetime those souls find each other. They complete the other’s destiny. It’s time for Pagan’s soul to choose if she truly wants an eternity at Death’s side or if she wants the mate created just for her.

Dank didn’t think he had to worry about her choice. He knew where her heart belonged. Until he realized that every kiss, every touch, every moment of their time together would be washed from her memories. He would have to win her heart all over again and prove to her soul that he was where she belonged.

If only her soul’s mate wasn’t right there standing in his way.

REVIEW

** spoiler alert ** The best book from this series! Love it! <3 It was amazing and FINALLY THEY HAD SEX!!! Thanks God! Pagan is mature now and I tought here would be a love triangle, but NO! Pagan’s heart is still Dank’s, even she doesn’t remember anything, her soul is connected with Dank’s soul and the attraction between them is very strong and they couldn’t resist.

Dank was the same, but he has suffered very much when Pagan was with other boys, even she didn’t feel anything for any of them. She was only for Dank. And by the way, I’m happy that I found out from where is Dank’s name :)

This book broke my heart in the beginning because Pagan had lost her memory and she didn’t remember Dank and Gee and she couldn’t see ghosts any more. Now she is a normal person. But Dank wanted her to remember and he tried everything, but she was just freaked out when she found out that Dank and Gee weren’t human.

But Gee saved the situation and she is a really good friend and she cares very much about Pagan. When Mirada wasn’t there for her, Gee was.

And about Miranda, after she met Nathan, who is actually Wyatt’s soul, she fell in love with him and they had sex in every day and every moment of the day or night. She was a little absent from Pagan’s life, but she deserved to be happy.

Lief is an ass and I wanted to kill him when he did what he did, but he wasn’t present very much in the book and I don’t know what had happened with him, but I’m not really interested.

Jay is an idiot and I can’t believe that Pagan was with him 3 years, he is a dickhead!

And Pagan and Dank’s relationship is really working, even Pagan doesn’t remember and I’m happy they had sex, it was the time! :)

You must read this book because is amazing and I can’t believe I didn’t read this series until now! It’s amazing and ite deserves more than 5 stars! I love it! <3

Review “Predestined” by Abbi Glines

ceas

You would think after helping save her boyfriend from an eternity in Hell that things would go back to normal. Well, as normal as life can be when you can see souls and your boyfriend is Death. But for Pagan Moore, things are just getting weirder.

The high school quarterback and reigning heartthrob, Leif Montgomery, is missing. While the town is in a frenzy of worry, Pagan is a nervous wreck for other reasons. Apparently good ‘ol Leif isn’t your average teenage boy. He isn’t even human. According to Death, Leif doesn’t have a soul. The quarterback may have skipped town but he’s still showing up in Pagan’s dreams… uninvited.

Dank has known from the beginning Leif wasn’t human. But he hadn’t worried about a simple soulless creature. Now, he realizes he made a grave mistake. Pagan’s soul has been marked since birth as a restitution, to a spirit so dark not even Death walks near it. Dank knows saving Pagan’s soul won’t be easy but Pagan is his. And he’s already proven he’ll defy Heaven to keep her. If Hell wants a piece of him too, then bring it on.

REVIEW

****WARNING!!! SPOILERS ALERT!!!****

I looove this book! It was amazing and this was better than the first one! I love Abbi’s writing style and she has amazing books.

After “Existence” had finished with ‘Leif is not human’, I was so curious about this book and it didn’t disappoint me. Pagan and Dank are together and I’m happy about that but I’m not happy because Leif is an ass and when I found out that he is an voodoo spirit and he has no soul I was totally surprised because I didn’t expect at something like this. It was a surprise, I may say, a really bad surprise because he is really evil and he isn’t like that Leif from beggining any more. He is frightening and even he said he loves Pagan, I don’t think this is the normal love, you don’t do that things to a person you love! Is inhuman!

And in the other way is Dank. He loves so much Pagan and he is willing to risk all for saving Pagan. He saves her from Vilokan, a voodoo island where she is keept against her will.

After her friend died, she and Miranda were destroyed and after that, Paga found out that Wyatt wasn’t supposed to die and he died because Ghede, the voodoo king wanted Pagan’s soul. She accepted to go on Vilokan island because she didn’t want any of her friends or people loved by her to die. But Dank hasn’t agreed with that, so he saved Pagan and he threatened the voodo spirits, so they had to let Pagan go.

I like Dank because he is an badass and he is sexy (everyone knows that), but he loves Pagan very much and he couldn’t live without her. And I think every girl wants a boyfriend like Dank. And he is also a rockstar <3 And I almost forgot, they were kissing, a lot! :)

I like Gee too because she is a real friend and she cares about Pagan even she is a little weird :)

I liked this book so much and I’ll definitely read “Ceaseless” because I want to know what will happen and I know that book will break my heart in the beggining :)

This book receives from me 5/5 stars. And I love Abbi Glines’s books! I’ve said that before? :) Anyway, Abbi, you are a genius! <3

Blog Tour: “Stars in Her Eyes” by Clare C. Marshall

blogtourbadgesihe

Today I’m hosting the blog tour for the book “Stars in Her Eyes” by Clare C. Marshall. It was better than I thought and I’m so happy I had the opportunity to read it! <3 I have for you an interview with Clare and my review for her book, “Stars in Her Eyes” :) I hope you’ll like it ;)

INTERVIEW

  • Tell us something about you. What means writing for you?

I’ve always wanted to be a writer, ever since I was very little. And I enjoy publishing my own books because I enjoy the freedom to create a really great story. To write is to create and explore a universe, and to publish your own work is merely an extension of this creation.

  • Were you scared about people’s reaction when they read your book for the first time?

A little. But this is my third book so I know that there are going to be some people who will absolutely love the story and the characters and there will be others that don’t connect with one or the other, or both. That’s just how it is!

  • Who is your favorite author and which is your favorite book? Can you recommend us a book?

Hmm, I have a lot of favourite authors, it just depends on my mood. I really enjoyed Across the Universe by Beth Revis recently, and I definitely recommend that people read that (or listen, the audiobook version is great!)

  • Which book do you wish you could have written?

Haha! Probably the Harry Potter series, or the Divergent series. But I already have so many books to write, so it’s not that big of a deal.

  • If you were a supernatural creature, which creature would you be?

Probably a vampire. I already live in a basement with little sunlight anyway! The thought of being immortal is exciting, as I have a lot of things I want to accomplish in this life.

That, or if a Time Lord counts as a supernatural creature, I would definitely be that instead.

  • Does music inspire you? What kind of music do you like to listen?

Music actually plays a large part in the Sparkstone series, as the protagonist Ingrid is a musician. I am also musician—I play the fiddle and I’m from Nova Scotia, Canada, so I enjoy Celtic music and folk music, just like Ingrid.

  • What do you think about Romania and Romanian literature? Have you been in Romania?

In truth I don’t know a lot about Romanian culture or literature, and I’ve unfortunately never been to Romania, so I don’t know enough to have an informed opinion, sorry! I guess you’ll have to recommend me some books.

  • Do you like extreme sports?

Not particularly! I used to be a lifeguard so I’m a pretty strong swimmer, and I used to do cross country running and basketball in school, but that’s not that extreme.

  • Do you have another project in your mind?

I’m always working on something or another. I’m working on the sequel to The Violet Fox, the YA fantasy book I released last year. It will be called The Silver Spear. I’m also working on the sequel to Stars In Her Eyes, which will be called Dreams In Her Head.

On the publishing side, I’m going to be concentrating on marketing the books I already have. I’m attending three conventions in Canada this year so I’m really excited to meet new people and sell more books!

  • Would you like to say something to your Romanian readers?

Thank you for being so supportive and interested in my books! I really appreciate it.

Burn hot and cold.

Read minds.

Disappear at will.

Dream your own death.

Welcome to Sparkstone University, where some students are more gifted than others.

When Ingrid learns she’s been accepted at the hyper-secretive Sparkstone University, she is sceptical. It’s an honour to attend, apparently, and yet barely anyone has ever heard of the place.

And everyone seems a little too happy that she’s there: especially when she meets Sunni and her group of friends. They seem to already know Ingrid. As if she was expected. Expected to save Earth from an imminent alien invasion. Like she has superpowers or something.

As if magic and mutations exist. As if aliens are really planning to attack.

That just sounds ridiculous. There’s no such thing.

…right?

Wrong.

REVIEW

Like I said, this is a good book, but is was a little confusing for me. The story is original and interesting, but is too tangled and there are a lot of secrets and nobody knows anything excerpt Sunni and she doesn’t tell anyone anything. It’s a little annoying.

Ingrid had been chosen at Sparkstone University and she was a little surprised because she didn’t even try to get in that university. There are only smart kids and this is a very big challenge for her. She is a musician and she is very smart, but sh is afraid she doesn’t keep up with the others.

Here, at university, she met Sunni and her friends: Jia, Wil and Misty and they are a little strange. She also met Ethan, a boy with British accent and she kinda likes him. But this university is not what it seems. And here we go, this is a book with aliens and I love that kind of books, but it has too much mystery and the secrets aren’t elucidated until this book ends and it’s too much. I don’t know when the second book will come out, but I want to read it because this one has too many secrets and things which I don’t understand.

I’m so happy that in this book was a kiss and it was in a little funny moment, even if this book isn’t about the funny things (those aliens were so slimy!). Anyway, I liked this book and I’m glad I had the opportunity to read it. Thanks Clare for the book!

Touching the Surface Romanian Blog Tour: Review

Before I start to write my review, I want to thank Andreea and Mrs. Kimberly for giving me the opportunity to be part of this blog tour :D I absolutely loved this book!

*If you click on the picture you’ll find more about the book on Goodreads*

REVIEW

I must start with the fact that when I started reading this book I didn’t intend to give it 5 stars. The beginning was confusing for me and a little bit boring but then all the pieces started to fit in my mind. At the ending I realized & learned so many things about forgiving yourself and the other people, life and afterlife. Kimberly Sabatini, you’re a genius and I have to thank you for writing this book, it was awesome<3

Elliot Turner is dead for the third time and she is back at the Obmil. This time things are different because she must remember her past and try to discover her mistakes. Here, she meets Oliver, the boy she killed in a car accident when she was alive who is also her Passenger, and Trevor, Oliver’s brother, a jerk.
She has to Delve. Not alone, but with Trevor, the boy who seems to have the strongest connection with her. Together they uncover the real truth about their first lives, the truth that has hurt so many people, including Oliver, Julia (Elliot’s ”supposed” best friend in all of her lives) and the two of them. They do not hate each other, but maybe is it true love ? Only their hearts know the truth.

Trevor

Kimberly’s characters were a challenge, at least some of them. I didn’t like Elliot at the beginning because she was so weak, fragile and sometimes annoying. But she evolved during the book and I liked that. I also didn’t like Julia, because I thought she abandoned Elliot and she wanted Trevor *grhhh* but you’ll see how things change till the end of the book. Trevor and Oliver were complete opposites and they were just amazing and cute. Even though Trevor was a jerk, he is my favorite character.

You have to love his cocky attitude, his smirks and lips. Oliver was the quiet one, the real brother and friend always there for you. We have a lot more important characters like Mel, David or Freddie.

Overall, ‘‘Touching the Surface” is an amazing read, I highly recommend it for the lovers of YA and Romance books. Maybe you won’t like it at the beginning, but please DO NOT stop reading. You’ll be dumbfounded at the ending and you’ll give me reason.
